Hi There!
If you didn't already guess it, the person behind BecCreates is named Rebecca (that's me), but I've been known as Bec, Becca, Becky, and even Reba (reserved for siblings). Naturally, I wanted to construct a brand that promotes who I am and what I do. What I do is create and connect! I have been creating since I could hold a (washable) marker in my hand. I love fine art, but in my young adulthood I got into digital art and have been inspired by the tools that rapidly evolving technology offers. During my professional career in Marketing, I went back to school for Communications. I love trying new channels and mediums to expand my skills in visual communication, and am consistantly looking forward to the next creative endeavor. Ask my partner: I always have a few projects in the works at home.

More About Bec (Rebecca)
I am a seasoned Director with a decade of professional experience managing internal and external client relations from start to completion of major initiatives. I have strong interpersonal communication skills, am an empathetic listener, and highly organized. I am an effective and emotionally intelligent people manager. I excel at initiating conversations, acquiring pertinent information, and providing recaps and next steps. I have project scope and planning mastery. I am passionate about interweaving design and effective communication, which is why I decided to persue and complete college degrees in both Graphic Design and Communications. I believe in the value of both form and function (you don't have to settle for just one!) I'm an ardent visual communicator and a devotee of self-reflection, accountability, and growth. I am absolutley committed to full transparency and showing up authentically. I believe in using access to privilege and power to elevate others. Win-win mentality, please!
